The Ohio Department of Health is reporting 241 cases of Lyme disease in 60 counties so far in 2017. Reports have steadily increased in Ohio during the past 5 years with 119 cases in 2014, 154 in 2015 and 160 cases in 2016. The increase coincides with the emergence of the blacklegged tick in the state.
