A man allegedly ran from Angola Police after they were called to the Williams Street Apartments to check on a suspicious vehicle. The incident began just after 10 a.m. Sunday morning. An officer noticed another vehicle in the parking lot that was running that was occupied by two people. When ID was asked for, a female exited the vehicle and the male drove over the parking curb and onto Williams Street in an attempt to flee from Officers. The pursuit lasted nearly 42 minutes through Branch and Hillsdale County before the suspect left the road and wrecked the car into a field in Branch County on Southern Road. The driver, 43 year old Scott Calloway, was arrested and taken into custody by authorities in Branch County. 44 year old Diana Rodriguez was arrested for fugitive warrants out of Elkhart County.
