A Defiance man died Sunday when his truck was struck by a CSX train. Defiance County Sheriffs say the pickup was traveling northbound across the tracks near Spruce Street at about 11am when an eastbound train hit the vehicle. The driver of the truck was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at th scene. The victim has been identifed as 82 year old Robert Colwell.
