Man Killed On Maumee

A man driving a snowmobile is killed on the Maumee River. Investigators say the victim hit an overhanging tree branch. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Kurt Bachellor of Defiance was thrown from the snowmobile west of Loudon Street near his home. An autopsy will be performed by the Lucas County coroner. Officers continue to canvass the area, looking for witnesses to the incident.
