Man With Gun Under Observation

A Leipsic man is being checked out after a shooting incident at a County Road H residence. Investigators say officers were called there on a welfare check. They tried to talk to the man at the door. He goes back inside. A minute later, a shot rings out, followed by another one, sometime later. Backup was called in but the man appeared minutes later and was taken in for observation by officials. No charges have been filed as officials await the results of the man’s visit with physicians.
