Manziel to be indicted today for allegedly attacking girlfriend

It just gets harder for Johnny Manziel. Johnny Football is expected to be indicted today on charges of attacking his girlfriend in January. His attorney said the former NFL quarterback is expecting a misdemeanor charge from the local grand jury. He could face a year in prison and a $4,000 fine. The case is being heard in Dallas and after his indictment, Manziel’s attorney says he will likely have bond set and present himself for booking. So far, the attorney has said there have not been any plea negotiations to end this before it goes to trial. Manziel was released from the Cleveland Browns on March 11th.
