Marlene Tingle, 72

Marlene B. Tingle, age 72, of Bryan, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord at 4:25 A.M. on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Cindy Tingle, of Edgerton, Ohio. Throughout her life, Marlene was a self employed beautician and lovingly dedicated many years to foster parenting teen girls from the Toledo area. She attended New Hope Community Church in Bryan and enjoyed spending time with her dear friends from the church and her loving family.

Marlene B. Tingle was born on December 1, 1942, in Alpena, Michigan, the daughter of Harvey and June (Simon) Male. She married John Edward “Bunk” Tingle in 1961 and he preceded her in death in 1965.

Survivors include one son, Marc (Cindy) Tingle, of Edgerton; six grandchildren; Jennifer, Summer, Sara, Kaitlyn and Jacob Tingle and Krystal Coressel; twelve great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Gary (Pat) Male, of Coldwater, Michigan, Linda (Alan) Foust, of Hillsdale, Michigan, and Lisa Male, of Marshall, Michigan. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Michael Tingle, one sister, Cheryl Bortell and one brother, Larry Male.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. in the New Hope Community Church in Bryan with Pastor Dave Nicholls officiating. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the church. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier, Ohio.

Memorials are requested to New Hope Community Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
