McClure man is critical after weekend crash

A McClure man is in a Toledo hos­pi­tal in crit­i­cal con­di­tion after a one car crash over the week­end. Ran­dall Ottinger was dri­ving about 3:30 a.m. Sat­ur­day and failed to nego­ti­ate a curve. He drove off the road, over­cor­rected, skid­ded, then hit a guardrail and flipped over it. His car came to rest in the Maumee River. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office said alco­hol is sus­pected in the crash.
