Incumbent, Rob McColley beats two first-time challengers in Tuesday’s Republican primary race for Ohio Senate District 1. McColley, 33, of Napoleon, polled nearly 61.5 percent of the district vote, sweeping past Craig Kupferberg, of Findlay, with 19.5 percent and Bob Barker, Jr., of Van Wert, with about 19 percent of the total votes cast. In Williams County, McColley prevailed with more than 76 percent of the vote total.
