Med Weed Apps

The Ohio Department of Commerce received 185 applications for the 24 available Level I and Level II Medical Marijuana Cultivator licenses before the June 30 deadline. A single application was received from Williams County…an application for a Level I grow site in Stryker. Level I cultivators will be permitted to operate an initial marijuana cultivation area up to 25,000 square feet. The formal decisions on who is awarded cultivator licenses should be made by Sept. 8, which is the date by law the medical marijuana program is supposed to be up and running.
