Medical issue caused crash that cut power

A large power outage was reported Monday and was the result of a single-car crash on East High Street. 19-year-old Nathaniel Peck crashed because of a medical issue and hit a utility pole in front of Wendy’s. He was treated and released from Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan. About 700 customers lost power, but linemen were able to restore service to most within an hour.
