Memorandum of understanding between several agencies approved by Williams County commissioners.

A memorandum of understanding between several agencies, possibly involved in child abuse investigations, is approved by the Williams County commissioners. County Assistant Prosecutor Rachael Sostoi said the document needs updating or reapproval every two years and needs to be signed off on by agencies that deal with cases of child abuse or neglect. She added the county has had one in place for several years, but she said the commissioners are also now required to sign the agreement. Sostoi added there have been a lot of changes in personnel of the people that are required to sign the documents, so she needs to have conversations with many of them. Following the discussion on the MOU, officials requested an executive session with Sostoi and others to discuss pending litigation.
