Scrapping company, Metal-X hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility in Delta. The proposed $35 million investment will fund the development of a state-of-the-art scrap processing plant that will create more than 75 new jobs to handle over 500,000 tons per year in its first phase. The company expects the facility to be fully operational within one-year, and plans to begin certain operations as early as next summer.
