Michael E. Shuck, 60

Michael E. Shuck, age 60, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his home following a sudden illness. Mike was the Director of Services at Defiance College through Service Master. He was a veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard who served from 1981-1987 and was discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of the Bryan American Legion Post 284 and AmVets Post 54. Mike was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.

Michel E. Shuck was born February 3, 1963, in Bluffton, Ohio, the son of Richard L and Dorothy M. (Moser) Shuck. He was a graduate of Galion High School and held several cross country and track records there. Mike married Jackie L. Hoffman on April 2, 2018 in Bryan and she survives.

Mike is also survived by his daughters, Nichelle Shuck, of Ayden, North Carolina and Danielle (Tyler) Lasure, of Zanesville, Ohio; step children, Tiffinie (Alex Boroff) Winzeler, of Bryan, Zachary (Jennifer) Winzeler, of Wauseon and Weston (Ashley) Walter, of Defiance; grandchildren, Lincoln, Lilly, Madison, Korbin, Makenna, Aubrey, Evalynn and Amelia; brother, Dan (Amber) Shuck, of Wauseon and sisters, Tanya (Roger) Roseberry, of Crestline, Ohio and Pamela (Karl) Anschutz, of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Mike will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 11:00A.M.-1:00 P.M., at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. with David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan with graveside military rite provided by the combined Bryan American Legion/VFW Honor Detail.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Bryan American Legion or Bryan AmVets.
