Midwest hub of a $4.2 billion pipeline project is under construction north of Defiance

The Midwest hub of a $4.2 billion pipeline project is under construction north of Defiance. The hub, which includes a compressor station, is being built on Banner School Road near Ohio 66. The facility is being built by Rover Pipeline, a subsidiary of Energy Transfer Partners. Compressor stations are being built at various locations along the 713-mile Rover Pipeline route that goes from western West Virginia/southwestern Pennsylvania up to Michigan. Defiance is serving as the interconnection or Midwest hub of the line to Michigan.
