Montana Man Sentenced In Steuben Court

A man from Montana was sentenced to six years of a eight year prison sentence on Monday in Steuben Superior Court. The sentence for James Richter came after he entered a guilty plea almost a year ago to felony charges related to the dealing of methamphetamine. Richter will serve his time in Community Corrections if he qualifies. Richter, who is already on probation in Montana, was not ordered to serve additional probation, and he was given credit for the 39 days behind bars that he has already served.
