The Montpelier Village Council passes an ordinance to tighten regulations on where any future medical marijuana cultivation and processing facilities could be located within the town. The regulations place the facility in the village’s industrial park. Council member, Kevin Motter was the lone no vote, explaining he did not want any such facility in Montpelier at all. Council members, Cheri Streicher and Chris Kannel wants regulations in place, in case a facility is eventually located in the town.
