Montpelier officials to split renovations to the pool in town into three phases.

Montpelier officials decide to split renovations to the pool in town into three phases while developing a master plan for the park system similar to many such plans the village already has. Montpelier Village Council had previously hired Peterman Associates in Findlay to do a study of the village’s pool. Because of the cost of a total pool renovation, the idea is to take a multi-phase approach. Park board member Angela Hillard suggested breaking it up into three phases, an action with which council agreed. Sandy Gordon, parks and recreation director, says the plan was originally to work in two phases, but that changed once further inspections found additional problems, such as pipes running through the electrical conduit.
