Montpelier Takes A Side

Montpelier joins other Ohio towns to join a legal battle against the state, challenging the constitutionality of a change in the way income tax is collected. The coalition opposes a provision of Gov. Kasich’s two-year budget that would allow business owners to file net-profit income-tax returns with the Ohio Department of Taxation, instead of the city where their business is located.
