Montpelier Village Council awarded bids for two projects.

The Montpelier Village Council awarded bids for two projects and approved purchasing a new sewer camera during its meeting Monday evening. The first project was the Cranberry Run storm sewer project. The project will line the 54-inch sewer pipe with plastic in the 200 and 300 blocks of West Washington Street. And the Bryan Times reports the project, funded in part with a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), garnered seven bids with the lowest bid being Inliner Solutions at $319,827. A letter from Jones & Henry Engineers stated engineers saw no irregularities in the bid and the company has the experience and qualifications to perform the required work.
