More Local Drug Arrests

Two Angola women were arrested Tuesday afternoon by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department, when what started out as the service of an arrest warrant, turned into a methamphetamine bust. 21-year-old Andrea May Parker of Angola was wanted on a warrant charging her with misdemeanor theft. While she was being taken into custody, deputies saw some items commonly associated with the use and manufacture of Methamphetamine. Detectives were called in, and during a search, they found more items that are used with the manufacturing of Methamphetamine, along with at least 3 active one pot reaction vessels, along with several small bags containing what appeared to be Methamphetamine. Parker was locked up in the Steuben County Jail without bond on felony charges of manufacturing meth and possession of meth in addition to the original misdemeanor arrest warrant.
And 25 year old Cheyanne Lee Kerns, was also found inside that same home and taken into custody on an arrest warrant charging her with possession of meth. Kerns was locked up in the Steuben County Jail in lieu of a $13,500 bond. The case remains under investigation and additional charges may be filed.
