Multiple Injury Crash Thursday Involving Pedestrian.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury crash involving multiple vehicles, and a pedestrian, that occurred Thursday at approximately 6:50PM at the intersection of State Route 25 and Five Point Road.
Donna Farmer, 81, was traveling southbound on State Route 25, when she
was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Five Point Rd. Farmer failed to yield the
right of way when turning left, and was struck by a vehicle driven by Amy Schrag,
33, who was traveling northbound on State Route 25.
At this point, a motorist stopped out to assist Farmer and Schrag, whose vehicles
were disabled in the roadway of State Route 25 northbound. While the motorist was
providing assistance, a vehicle driven by Melissa Rudd, 39, was traveling northbound on
State Route 25 and struck the disabled vehicles. The motorist who was providing
assistance was struck by the disabled vehicles and sustained serious injuries.
Farmer was transported to Perrysburg Promedica Hospital with minor injuries. Schrag was treated at the scene with minor injuries and released. Rudd was transported to Toledo Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The assisting motorist was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital with serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and proceed with caution during times of adverse
weather and low visibility.
