Murder trial date set for Garcia

The murder trial of 32 year old Edwin Garcia of Angola, has been scheduled for September. Garcia is accused of the stabbing death of 30 year old Jonathon Abuja in the early morning hours of April 9th. Garcia is also charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend Amber Lynn Abuja. Garcia could face over 100 years in prison if found guilty on both counts. His pre trial conference is September 12th, and the trial has been scheduled to begin on September 27th. Garcia remains in the Steuben County Jail
