Muriel Tuttle, 92

Muriel H. Tuttle, 92 years, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Hillside Country Living, where she was a resident.  Muriel was born February 7, 1921 in Waldoboro, Maine, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ethel (Foss) Ham.  Muriel was a graduate of Rochester High School in Rochester New Hampshire.  She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, and the Order of Eastern Stars, Progressive Study Club and the Bryan Lioness Club.

Surviving are her two daughters, Gail (Keith) Cretcher of Sacramento, California and Bonnie Bercaw of Defiance; four grandchildren, Jim (Michelle) Gettys of Defiance, Heather (Denna Harvill) Gettys of St. Louis, Missouri, Kimberly (Joel) Weber of Elk Grove, California and Jenny (Adam) McCoy of Davis, California; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Merrill of Washington, D.C.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Verna Palmer.

Funeral services for Muriel H. Tuttle will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan with Rev. Jeffrey Motter officiating.  Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.  The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
