It’s official! The apparent successful outcome of Napoleon Area City Schools’ property tax levy on Election Day was confirmed Tuesday. The Henry County Board of Elections counted approximately five dozen votes that had remained outstanding on Nov. 5. The district’s 4.7-mill, five-year levy passed on Election Night by 41 votes (3,707-3,666) after a smaller levy (3.9 mills) failed in November 2023 and this past March. But 58 ballots remained to be counted, so the final outcome wasn’t officially known until now.
