Napoleon police officers are investigating an attempted armed robbery

Napoleon police officers are investigating an attempted armed robbery in Napoleon. This is the second such incident in two days in the city. The most recent incident occurred at 9:13 p.m. Monday at Subway, 402 S. Perry St. Officers were called to an attempted armed robbery complaint at the local business. Napoleon Police Chief Robert Weitzel reported that two males allegedly entered Subway with their faces covered by black bandanas, demanding money from the register. One of the males allegedly brandished a semi-automatic pistol. Police reported that the suspects did not obtain any money, but left the store through the rear exit of the business. One male was reported as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds; while other was approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds.
