NAPOLEON REJECTS BIDS

The Napoleon City Coun­cil approved a motion to reject all bids for the Scott Street improve­ment project dur­ing its meet­ing on Mon­day.

City offi­cials dis­cov­ered when bids for the project were opened on March 26, not all of the nec­es­sary paper­work had been sub­mit­ted. They felt that reject­ing all of the bids was the best way to limit the pos­si­bil­ity of lit­i­ga­tion.

It’s now unclear when the project will be adver­tised again because it is sub­ject to approval by the Ohio Depart­ment of Transportation.
