NEW FULTON COUNTY TREASURER

Ful­ton County has a new trea­surer.

Char­lene Lee of Pet­tisville will fill the posi­tion fol­low­ing the retire­ment of for­mer trea­surer Bev Schlosser.

Now, Lee is plan­ning her res­ig­na­tion from her cur­rent posi­tion as chief finan­cial offi­cer of the Defi­ance Pub­lic Library Sys­tem effec­tive Dec. 27.

Lee resides in Pet­tisville with her hus­band, Pet­tisville Local Schools trea­surer Chris Lee, and daugh­ter, Gretchen, a Pet­tisville eighth-grader.

Lee is cur­rently split­ting her time between the two posts as she assists the library through its tran­si­tion.

Schlosser spent 28 years with the Ful­ton County treasurer’s office prior to retirement.
