NEW JOBS COMING TO STEUBEN

A recy­cling com­pany announced Tues­day, that it plans to locate its first Indi­ana plas­tics facil­ity in Steuben County, cre­at­ing up to 22 new jobs.

The com­pany which is based in Hol­land, Michi­gan, says it will pur­chase, ren­o­vate and equip a new 120,000 square-foot facil­ity in Fre­mont.

The plant is expected to be fully oper­a­tional by early 2014, and will allow the com­pany to oper­ate its plas­tics divi­sion closer to indus­trial and com­mer­cial cus­tomers, reduc­ing freight expenses.
