New ride at Cedar Point closed for an ‘extended’ time.

Rollercoaster fans waiting for a chance to experience Cedar Point’s brand-new Top Thrill 2 coaster will have to wait a little longer after a mechanical issue forced the park to close the ride for an “extended” time. Cedar Point made the announcement on social media Sunday morning. The park said Top Thrill 2’s manufacturer, Zamperla, is making a “mechanical modification” to the ride’s vehicles.
