New Season For United Way

It’s a new year and a fresh start for the United Way of Paulding County. The organization kicked off its 2014–15 campaign this week with a breakfast on Wednesday, when it was announced that this year’s goal is $75,000.

Last year’s goal of $60,000 was beat as $68,000 in total was raised. Even so, the fiscal year ended with more requests for funds than the United Way could meet.

Funds raised by the United Way each year go to organizations like Community Health Professionals, the senior center, Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission, The Red Cross and the OSU Extension Office.

To make your donation to the United Way, call 419–399-8240 or visit the United Way of Paulding County on E. Perry St., Paulding.
