Northwest State Community College President Tom Stuckey formally announced his retirement at Friday’s Board of Trustees meeting. After 31 years at Northwest State in some capacity, and 10 years as president since retiring previously, Stuckey says it’s just time to move on. In looking back on his career at NSCC, Stuckey specifically cited the expansion of college credit plus opportunities at the school in cooperation with local high schools as one of his proudest career accomplishments. A search committee is now in place with the goal of selecting a new president by next spring. Stuckey will have his last day on or before June 30, 2018.
