Northwest State Community College Foundation recently hosted its annual Green Carpet Event, “Unlock Students’ Possibilities,” and raised more than $63,000, with all proceeds going to student scholarships. The evening included a presentation of the 2025 “Making a Difference” awards, which were created as a way to recognize individuals, businesses and organizations in the six-county area committed to improving their communities. The Green Carpet Event also included a performance by Michael Griffin, escape artist.
