Numbers are in on Fulton County Sheriff’s Office’s most recent traffic blitz

Forty-nine traffic stops were made and 18 citations were issued during the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office’s most recent traffic blitz. The traffic enforcement blitz ran June 8-11, and June 15-18. Of the citations issued, 16 were for speed, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Deputies also issued 13 warnings. The sheriff’s office is currently conducting another traffic enforcement blitz in the county, which will run through June 30. During that time, deputies will be on the lookout for distracted driving, seatbelt violations, speeding and impaired drivers.
