Numbers of checked deer are way up

The num­bers are in for deer-gun hunt­ing sea­son so far this year. Hunters checked 73,399 white-tailed deer for the seven days of hunt­ing. Williams County had 1,253 deer checked. The final tally is higher than last years har­vest by about 8 thou­sand. There are two more days for gun hunters, on Decem­ber 28th and 29th.
