O’Donnell Tapped For Law Position

Defiance’s next city law director is named. Mayor, Mike McCann announced Sean O’Donnell…one of the city’s two assistant law directors…will take over on Jan. 1. O’Donnell will replace long-time law director, David Williams, who will retire at year’s end. O’Donnell, 33, is a North Carolina native. He was employed by the Steve K. Snavely law firm of Defiance when hired by McCann earlier this year as an assistant law director. The city’s other assistant law director, Troy Essex, will retain that title and continue to handle Defiance Municipal Court proceedings.
