The venue for the Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) construction season kickoff event Friday afternoon was the intersection of U.S. 24 and Henry County Road 17D – just north of Okolona. It was chosen because building a new interchange there during the next two construction seasons will be one of the state agency’s bigger projects.
