Ohio Art Company in line for more success.

Since selling its toy division, the Ohio Art Co. of Bryan has focused on lithography, and a recent acquisition puts it in line for more success. Ohio Art recently announced it purchased all the assets of Allstate Can Co., allowing the local company to “significantly expand its manufacturing capabilities,” according to Ohio Art officials. The local company was able to do so by being the winning bidder after Allstate’s ownership decided to transition out of the business. Ohio Art CEO Elena West says since the decision to sell the toy division in 2016, including the famous Etch-A-Sketch, the company has been working on ways to maximize its Bryan manufacturing campus, which is 550,000 square feet, as well as provide service and savings for customers. Over that time, the company has brought in customers and partners that are involved with the multi-step process of producing metal lithography.
