The Ohio Casino Control Commission, in partnership with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, served search warrants on two business locations as part of an illegal gambling investigation, in Champaign and Madison counties. The investigation began after receiving complaints that the locations were operating gaming machines in violation of Ohio law. The Champaign and Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation assisted in the operation, in which approximately 100 suspected illegal slot machines were seized, along with an undetermined amount of cash and other documents.
