Williams County Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO) is about to wrap up another season and look to a new one with the help of a home-grown success story like it strives to create in the business world. Ohio Secretary of State and Montpelier-native John Husted will lead off the organization’s annual meeting, set for 11 a.m. on March 7 in the Veteran’s Memorial Building on the Williams County fairgrounds. Committees being formed include workforce development, marketing as well as membership and dues. WEDCO will also look to honor some of its members for the first time through a series of awards, including new business of the year, business of the year and community of the year.
