Olea Sentenced For Embezzlement

A Defiance woman is sentenced after taking funds from her job. Katie Olea appeared for grand theft. She was placed on community control for four years and ordered to make $70,172 in restitution to the victim. She is also to have no contact with the Defiance business, Cashland. Olea was convicted of taking the money from Cashland between June and Dec. 2016, while employed there.
