One Step at a Time 5K Run/Walk to be held at Defiance College on October 1st

An opportunity to raise awareness of suicide, particularly for teenagers, will take place Oct. 1 on the Defiance College campus. That is when the One Step at a Time 5K Run/Walk will be held to increase the awareness of suicide and raise funds for local programs on suicide awareness. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9 a.m., with check-in at 7:30 a.m. at the George M. Smart Athletic Center on the north end of the DC campus. The cost to enter the race is $25 and runners 12 years old and younger are free.
