A program to round up electric bills to the nearest dollar, with the extra going to local agencies serving people in need, has provided more than $12,000 in donations. Paulding-Putnam Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up began in July 2010. They say about 3/4’s of their members participate. The money is going to a variety of organizations, including several schools in Paulding and Van Wert, two Christian schools, the Putnam County Historical Museum and to help the dog kennel in that county.
