Overdose Awareness Day set for Wednesday, Sept. 3rd.

Overdose Awareness Day is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 3, 4:30-7 p.m. at the Williams County Courthouse lawn, Bryan. The Educating Communities on Healthy Opportunities Coalition, in partnership with Never Let Go Ministries, the Four County ADAMhs Board and NAMI Four County, will host an Overdose Awareness Day event. The event coincides with International Overdose Awareness Day, which is observed annually on Aug. 31. Because that date falls during Labor Day weekend this year, the local recognition is scheduled for the following Tuesday.
