Pamela Kast, 65

Pamela D. Kast, 65 years, of Bryan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance, with her family at her side.  Pam was born November 5, 1948 in Coldwater, Michigan, the daughter of the late Herbert William and Beatrice (Paison) Eckman.  Pam was a devoted homemaker, caring for her family.  She was known as an individual who had a subtle wit and enjoyed shopping.

Surviving are her three daughters, Krista Bree and her husband, James L. Spradlin, Jr. of Trenton, Michigan, Heather Vance and her husband, Ronnie of Sylvania, Ohio and Holly Kast of Bryan, Ohio; three grandchildren, Anna Bowers, Ross Roberson and Wyatt Roberson; one brother, William Eckman of California; two sisters, Deborah (Dennis) Wann of Bryan and Cynthia Lucas of Bryan and her longtime companion, David Wineland of West Unity, Ohio.

There will not be any visitation and services will remain private for the family.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
