Partner of Dead K-9 Officer Charged with Cruelty

The human part­ner of the Med­ina K-9 offi­cer that died when left in a hot squad car for four hours in the sun is now charged with ani­mal cru­elty. Sgt Brett Har­ri­son of Montville Town­ship police was charged with two mis­de­meanor counts of cru­elty. The Ger­man Shep­herd Beny died when he was left in the hot car late last month.
