Paulding County Hospital responds to doctor’s lawsuit

A local doctor suing Paulding Hospital in a contract dispute. Dr. James H. Gray wants a declaratory judgment in Common Pleas Court, and monetary damages of $25,000, he wants out of his non-compete clause and wants the building he says he owns in Antwerp to be vacated by the hospital. In their response, Paulding County Hospital says their agreement in 2010 said he would sell the hospital his medical practice and become their employee. They say they paid him $300,000 for his practice and he was let go at the end of last year. They want the lawsuit dismissed.
