Paulding County proud to procure park

Summer feels like a long time away, but park season is right around the corner. And a new park is coming to Paulding County. And there’s more than just a park. Along with it, a new launch for small watercraft will be built to the Maumee River. The Black Swamp Conservancy organization has bought 52 acres of land in Crane Township owned by James Hertel. A land protection specialist says it will be more accessible, with fishing, picnicking and a place for canoeing and kayaking. The Paulding County Park District will manage the property on a day-to-day basis.
