Paulding Days chock full of fun

John Paulding Days will be Friday and Saturday in downtown Paulding, a hometown festival moved from June to July that features food, rides, a parade and new attractions. The festival begins Friday at 4 p.m. when food vendors and the attractions open. The annual parade begins at 7 p.m. with 60 organizations participating this year, including the Paulding High School Marching Band. The Paulding Chamber of Commerce organizes the event.
Saturday it’s the Revolutionary Run 5K fun run and walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. There is a $10 admission fee and the first 50 entrants receive a T-shirt. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. The run will begin at the courthouse parking lot at Main and Perry.
There are events all day long, and the candy drop will be held at the courthouse for children at 5:30 p.m.
At 7 there’s live music then closing out the night will be the downtown fireworks display at 9:45 p.m.
