Paulding Exempted Village Board of Education hires new principal

The Paulding Exempted Village Board of Education hired a new principal at Paulding Elementary School for the 2017-18 school year. The board approved a two-year contract with Greg Puthoff as Paulding Elementary School principal, effective Aug. 2. Puthoff replaces Stephanie Tear, with whom the district came to a settlement agreement, and allowed her employment contract to expire on Feb. 14. Former Paulding and Antwerp superintendent Pat Ross was hired following executive session Feb. 14 as principal at Paulding Elementary for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year.
